Welcome back for the thirty-fifth #FollowFriday tweet / WordPress mashup of 2012 here on the AudioAcrobat Weblog!

OK, so you have a mobile phone, more than likely a smartphone.  Is it protected?  Perhaps…

In today’s post, we will dive deeper into the tweets of San Francisco based mobile security network, Lookout (@Lookout) and the Twitter accounts they have chosen to follow … a mirror, if you will, into the soul(-cial media) behind a company who helps users locate a lost device, prevent identify theft, block potential threats…and a whole lot more!

Yep.  That’s right, we just said it … “soulcial media”.  We also said, “a company who helps users locate a lost device, prevent identify theft, block potential threats…and a whole lot more” in the same sentence.

Conclusion

In summary, it looks as though @Lookout likes to follow twitter accounts and users who focus more on the Android side of the smartphone coin, at least in our extracted sample.  There are several news / mobile news accounts and a heavy focus on apps + reviews, and a keen focus on business.  We also noticed an unusual amount of older accounts who haven’t tweeted in several years at the bottom of their followers list, but hey — we’ve all probably got some Twitter housecleaning to do, right?!
